You will show me the path of life!!

You will make Me know the way of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy. At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore
(Psalm 16:11).

When we enter into a Love Walk with Jesus Christ we enter into the most beautiful path. Many times this path may not be clear. It may not even make sense to us and others but, the Lord calls us not to understand everything but to simply be obedient and trusting.

The steps of a good man are ordered by Jehovah; and He delights in his way
(Psalm 37:23).

Sometimes it seems as if we are actually going nowhere but all we need to do is continue. The Lord did promise to "never leave nor forsake us" (Hebrews 13:5).

Cause me to walk in the path of Your Commandments; for I delight in them
(Psalm 119:35).

As we continue to persevere with Him on this extraordinary journey we will know Him more, we will see with His eyes, we will hear with His ears and we will have His heart.

As we continue on this path we will actually do what Isaiah said:

Pass! Pass through the gates; prepare the way of the people. Raise up! Raise up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples
(Isaiah 62:10).

We will be able to:

Prepare the way of Jehovah, make straight a highway in the desert for our God
(Isaiah 40:3).

So, let us go boldly on this adventurous path, the ONLY path leading to LIFE!

He first totally razes that vain and pompous edifice that human art and power had erected, and from its horrible ruins a new structure is formed by His power only.
Jeanne Guyon

Yes, His structure is not made by human hands or mind but a heavenly one and HE admires it and choose to come and live in it

When we open our Lives to HIM then He comes and takes us exactly where we should be in life.

An open heaven requires an open heart. The answer does not matter then, because we are in right standing with Him. His WILL can then be accomplished in and through us. In return we WILL see Heaven and all its splendour! We WILL know the WILL of the Father! We WILL see the needs of those around us and we WILL be moved with compassion and fervour to GO! We WILL return, bringing with us many souls into GLORY – Having reaped, even at places where we didn’t sow! Like Jacob, who saw the Angels ascending and descending from Heaven, we WILL also see the glory of God!!

Come To Him!

He is the author of eternal life! Those who have tasted of His goodness do not have a choice but to draw closer to Him. In Him alone dwells all the fullness.

..because all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him…
(Colossians 1:19).

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
(Colossians 2:9).

He is the God of the whole earth!

For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him.
(Colossians 1:16).

He is the One who decided that you and I should be born. It is His goodness that even today, right now, draws men and women all over the world into His Love. His heart still long to have fellowship with His creation as it was in Eden. Imagine that we know the very Creator of all, He is reaching out to you and me, calling out our names in the cool of the day, because He wants to be with us. Who could resist such a persistent and ardent lover? Continuously drawing us to come into deeper intimacy with Him! Never growing tired of sharing moments of love, joy and ecstasy with us. He wants us to TRULY KNOW HIM! Yes, he longs for us to LIVE HIM in this cold and dying world. Wanting to heal and empower us with His love so that we can ultimately point others to Him to experience Who He is.

If you find yourself on the outside looking in because you are dry, hurting, angry or not trusting Him enough – what ever your reason, the fact still remains He loves you and is waiting and longing to be kind to you. His arms are wide open, longing to embrace you and love you the way you are supposed to be loved. To be loved unconditionally, no matter what your past or current state looks like. We have EVERYTHING to gain if we do come to Him – The Lord Jesus!

Jehovah has appeared to me from afar, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you.
(Jeremiah 31:3).

Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest
(Matthew 11:28).

With such a glorious invitation an invitation to live closer to THE GOD OF ALL THE EARTH WHO LONGS TO BE GRACIOUS TO ALL – I cannot help but ask: How can we not BUT come to Him?! No! Not just with the conditional bits we want to give but, with our all as He gave His UNCONDITIONAL ALL!

Where do the wounded go?

Today I popped in at a friend’s work place. We don’t see much of each other, so when we do, we try to catch up on all that’s been happening since the last time we saw one another. Our conversation normally covers the basics: our work, family, love life and relationship with Jesus. All is said very superficially but, today I started to talk about a mutual friend and how things have gone bad between us and that I’d like to patch things up – only to find out that she has experienced the same… Well actually, since I’ve not been so close to this friend nor known this person for so long, it was easier for me to put things behind me and to work on reconciliation. Unfortunately it is not so for my friend. She however has been friends with this person for 37-38 years! YES A LIFETIME FOR SOME – and this isn’t a cliché.

What transpired from her sharing, albeit not much, was that she was still suffering from the damage caused by the break in relationship. She expressed anger, pain and loneliness. I encouraged her to find help from mutual spiritual leaders, but she did not show much enthusiasm…

See, she is still hurting so much that she cannot see beyond the pain. Her heart is not yet ready to open to the healing hands of the HEAVENLY FATHER. I do know that she will get there, but what to do in the mean time? What can be done for this person who is still so wounded that no one is allowed in? WHERE do the wounded go? Do they trust enough to open up again? Do they have hope to see things change for the better again? Do they even have a prayer to help them through the lonely dark hours of the night after the day’s work has seized?

I’ve long since realized that when others are not able to stand up for themselves, then we who are strong should stand in the gap for them! We are to be the Aaron’s and Hur’s:

But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
(Exodus 17:12).

After all most of us, if not all of you who are reading this has gone through some serious hurt in your lives. I know from my experience that one of the things I wanted most was just to have someone letting me know that they are earnestly and fervently praying for me. I have also personally tasted and known how good the Lord is. So I’m going to pray earnestly for my friend – knowing that there is a place where she can go to – “He shall cover you (her)with His feathers, and under His wings (she)you shall trust…” Psalm 91:4.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
(Psalms 147:3).

SO THAT: she can once again exclaim and live His promise:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
(Jeremiah 29:11).

Lets not grow tired in bringing the ones Jesus loves to Him… HE IS OUR HIDING PLACE ,THERE WE FIND REST AND SHELTER !!!

The Time Is Now!!!

Its our time now, to step into what the Lord has called us for. No longer are we babes needing to be fed and led by others, but the responsibility has become ours – to live out what the Lord Jesus has called us for. We are to be the pioneers and writers of our own stories. There’s so much in us that needs to come out. The time is now, the favour of the Lord is upon us to walk in His anointing and to perform the works that he has prepared for us before the foundation of the world. For such a time as this He has brought our lives together so that the fullness of His presence can be established in and through us. He has prepared us separately and invested different giftings, fruits and skills in each one of us. These individual attributes are not to function on its own as separate entities, but to come together as a symphony of the beautiful music that only the King of Glory can compose. He will lead, guide, instruct, teach, aid, comfort and bless His works in and through us. He is the composer, the conductor, the musician and the ultimate audience of this beautiful symphony of sounds that He is about to release in our time through us.

Let us cut ourselves loose from what holds us back and seize the moment!
His time is now!

His time – to reach the lost through us. We are responsible for what He tells us, when we hear Him we need to respond to His call. What an honour to be called by the King of Kings, to be chosen by Him to be carriers of His glory to a dark and dying world. Lord help us not to miss this chance you are giving us, help us to not neglect such great Salvation and its essential message – That you are Love !!

For indeed because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again what are the first principles of the oracles of God. And you have become in need of milk, and not of solid food.
(Hebrews 5:12).

…Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth was dried.
(Revelation 14:15).

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
(Ephesians 2:10).

Are our desires His desires or vice versa?

Where does it start and where does it end? I think it is actually so intertwined that it’s hard to tell at times ….one of my recent unexpressed desires was that I longed to hear Him more – in a real way and be so entrenched with and in Him so I can tell others more about Him… Let me back up a bit…

A while ago I was thinking about how I don’t seem to hear people (myself included) talking and being excited about what the Lord has done for them recently, any-more. You know, about what He has done for them that day or for others or what He told them that day- the way we did when we’ve just met Him? I started to think about earthly relationships specifically romantic ones-how the two lovers cannot seem to talk enough about each other, to everyone who wants to and who does not want to hear. How we divulge the minutest piece of information of our times together with trusted friends and to acquaintances around us – just as long as we can get it off our chest! We want to shout it to the world and from the roof tops that we’ve just been with our lover and that he/she has said this or done that, how wonderful and perfect they are etc. …

Sometimes our beings are so full of those emotions that we don’t even have to utter one word to others, because they already know and understand what you are not saying, because your whole facial expressions, from silly grins at nothing to deep pensive stares into nothing tells it all! We just put it all out there…

Ok, at the risk of becoming repetitive what I am wondering is…

Have we become so complacent, busy, so puffed up, so engrossed with this life and its affairs, or too accustomed to being a believer in Jesus Christ that we no longer find any excitement in Him, no longer appreciate the small things he does for us in our everyday life, has our love grown so cold that he has just become another familiar Person instead of The One and only true God. The giver of all that is so good and perfect? do we take His goodness for granted that we don’t deem it necessary to TELL about it…?

Fact is: He does not change, amidst a fast changing world He still remains the same Faithful God. He does want to talk to us to show us the way that we should walk in, to know Him and to be a blessing to others.

But: Are we going to talk about Him and about what He means and is to us?
Are we allowing His words to fill our very being, so that those who look at us will KNOW that we’ve been with the Lord without us saying a word?
Are we going to become excited about Him again ,the way it was at first, no, better yet even more excited, more in love, allowing our latter end to be so much more glorious than our previous and present state.

Let us return to the love that once captivated us so much – when our whole beings ate, drank, breathed, dreamed, talked, walked, laughed, vibrated and yes… lived…HIM!

Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Malachi 3:16

Thoughts on God’s involvement in our lives

I realised it this morning, that if you are close to God you’ll know Him, hear Him, want to be like Him, want to do His will etc. So we need to be Holy as He is holy in order to have open channels for faith to do & live according to what pleases Him and will blesses us in return…

I found only two references to Faith in the Old Testament:

…For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith.
(Deuteronomy 32:20)

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
(Habakkuk 2:4)

I see faith linked to Godly living:

… most holy faith, …
(Jude 1:20)

I love it, so clear & simple..!

Could it be that Jesus’ words in these scriptures not just include the Bible but also His word to us in eg. prophecy, dreams , HOLY SPIRIT And also the way He talks to us every day – That we should not be ashamed of His relevancy in our lives now!?

“He is NO fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot loose”

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
(Matthew 16:24-26)

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
(Mark 8:34-38)

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
(Luke 9:23-26)

That we should live, acknowledge and declare with boldness His involvement in our lives especially when others wants to negate this fact with negativity and the way they want us to live. It should be then that we must declare our dependency and devotion to HIM!
Yes! It is for absolutely all of it.

Our first call is to be witnesses, close observers reporting their experiences and observations…
We need to share our experiences of And with HIM Stemming from our knowledge of HIM!!!
