Yes He did!
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day (Genesis 1:3-5).
The only problem is that we want to be in charge and control time, our time!
But it is His time because He created it.
We have done so much to save time or redeem time, but allowed technology to become our god… We are being consumed by it. People are always on the phone or computer with chats, email, diary, music and other entertainment.
An article “Being mesmerized by God, not technology” put it very well:
…if we had the same approach to our faith as I experienced with our approach to technology. Do we live in awareness that this world is not all there is and that we were created to reflect that reality in the way we live our lives and treat each other? Do we approach the transcendent with awe, wonder, attentiveness and patience in our worship?

Have we forgotten the truth that Jesus, the true Light, who gives light to every person came into this world we are living in. He came into the world He created and was not recognised nor received (John 1:9-11)?
Technology is good, but should not separate us from God. There are so many spiritual and biblical truths shared through technology.
I pray that our technological endeavour will bring us closer to Him and allow us to share Him with others more and more… Amen
