The sweetness of God

It is the sweetness of God that draws us to Him, but we were not called to run after sweetness (Sigi Oblander). We were called to be saturated with Him and then produce sweetness… Like becoming part of the vine grafted in as a branch (Romans 11:17). It is not that we produce the sweet fruit, but because we are joined to the vine His fruit is produced through us (John 15:1-8).

He came as a seed that died in order to produce more fruit (John 12:24); for it is the fruit that is sweet but not the seed nor the green leafs. We were not called to produce the fruit but to bear it… there is a price of longing and desire, a cry to the Giver of life who gives the seed of life and also produces the sweetness we need to keep growing. We should live for the glory and honour of God and not our own…
The sweetness also gives a sweet aroma that creates an atmosphere of peace where the enemy has no power for it is peace (John 14:27) and honey of rest (Sigi Oblander) and abundant life in Chris Jesus!!! His sweeness can only come from within as the Life of God is stirred up in us, AMEN!!!
