Enter into My rest

We all are invited to enter God’s rest:

Come to Me all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
(Matthew 11:28-30).

There are a few things that keeps us from entering into God’s rest, like unbelief.

And to whom did He swear that they should not enter into His rest, but to those who did not believe? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
(Hebrews 3:18-19).

The word of the gospel needs to be mixed with faith:

Therefore, a promise being left to enter into His rest, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it. For also we have had the gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter into the rest, as He said, "I have sworn in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest;" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
(Hebrews 4:1-3).

Lack of faith, disobedience and unbelief keeps us from entering into God’s rest.

Lord I know this world is limiting us because of sin, but You died on the cross that we may be born of the Spirit, freed from the limitations of sin and walking into perfection. Come and confirm Your love and acceptance in our lives that we may know it is not about strength but believing!!! For those who believed enter into Your rest…

May we labour in faith, obedience and love staying in His rest…
