Bless our community

Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we want to pray that You will bless our community. That You will bless them and keep them, that You will make Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them; that You will turn Your face toward them and give them Your peace. (Numbers.6:23-27) We ask this for our neighbours, our colleagues at work, for the police and people in prisons, for the children in school, the doctors and nurses and patients in hospitals, for fathers and mothers in our community and for the business, the teachers in school and the prisoners, the city council and government officials, the homeless, the jobless, those involved in all kinds of addiction, the destitute, the president of our nation and his advisors, the ministers of government and all their personnel.

Praise be to You the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians.1:3) Like Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, we cry out to You for our community: Oh that You would bless us, that Your hand be upon us, and that You will keep us from harm so that we will be free from pain and that we will cause no pain. (1 Chronicles. 4:10)

God of peace, may You sanctify us through and through. May our whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless. (1 Thessalonians.5:23-24) Lord, You are able to keep us from falling and to present all of us before Your glorious presence without fault and with great joy. (Judas 24-25)

Lord Jesus, may Your grace be on our community. (1 Corinthians.16:24)
